My first attempt at adding text, i wasn't able to figure out how to change the color but i'm sure with more practice i could figure that out.

THis is also another picture taken with my phone, this is one of my favorite pictures, although it isn't one of your traditional portraits, this is something i would love on my wall. I love how my daughter and her grandfather look so in tune to each other.

I actually took this photo of my daughter and her friends with my phone, i love the picture of my daughter in the center. If i had this picture of only here it would be a beautiful picture of her i think. I'm also kind of biased....

This is the original picture

I used the clone tool to remove some of the dark spot behind the dolphin, you can still see it a little but i got some of it to go away.

This is one of my filters pictures. I found this application fun and i was able to figure it out so i liked it. I used the sharpen and cartoon application on this on.

Again, another dodge and burn. I darkened(burn) the background and ligtened(dodge) my daughters shirt.

This is my dodge and burn photo, i ligtened the corn and darkened my daughters sweatshirt. I left a little texture in the corn in places so you can see the dark and light. I found this tool hard to use, yes just like all the others..... I thought it was too hard to control where it went and wasn't able to use it to a perfection. I'm sure if i knew what i was doing it would be easier.

2010-06-27 random

I had a really hard time finding anything for framing. I threw a few extra pictures in just because i like them. I took a picture through an old tractor tire with the car on the other side. While at the berry place i noticed that the stand she was in framed the field, so i took some of that. I stood at the end of my childrens playhouse and took a picture from one window out through the other. I also took a picture of the cemetarty through the swingset and the sugar house through the rings on the swingset.

This is what it looks like if i don't zoom in as much, i sit up from the road and the tree is by the road so it is always in the way.

Here is the "thirds" i had to zoom in close because there is a tree in the way and obscures the picture.

"Road to lifes last journey"
This is the road across from my house that goes to the cemetary. I happen to like the centered photo better than i do of the "thirds" photo

Thi is one of my pictures that is centered, it's just an old truck on our hill, i was hoping for a sunny day but it was either raining or it was sunny until i got out of work. This picture also happens to be the cover to the little book Route Seven.

I found this picture in my file and like how the trees frame the mickey hat.

Again, still learning my camera and what it can do, i tried to take random pictures that i would never have thought might make and interesting picture. I am plesantly surprised at how much i like this collage though. I actually found a few of the photos really interesting. We live on a farm so there are alot of odd things to take pictures of. We have an old truck that i want to photo when we have nice weather.

I feel like this picture is blurry almost, but i still kind of like it. It's not up close like the other one it shows more and you can't see as much detail as you could in the last one.

I like that i was actually able to capture the moss and aging of the post.
I took some pictures of the entire post but they didn't look at good but at the same time i think this may have looked better if it had been the entire post. I used a different setting for each picture and to tell the truth i didn't see a difference in any of them.

I love this picture of my daughter, i just happened to see her in the tree and was able to get a good picture of her. I love that it is not staged, that it is completly natural.

I don't remember what this is, but it's a sea creature from Sea World. It was the neatest thing to look at. We sat and watched it for the longest time, all i could think of was a seahorse mixed with a plant...
